Has anyone ever done maintenance at mcdonlads because I'm going to quit?

I've started doing maintenance at McDonald's recently and I really like it. I'm busy and go in really early and get off at decent times. The only problem is that I only do it two days a week and the store manager is putting a lot on me. We have two maintenace people who've been there longer then me. I only stared a month ago and usually do my daily maintance list with no problems. Now so much is starting to get blamed on me that I'm going to quit I already have job offers for other jobs and I'm going to do that. I just wanted to know if what is happening is normal. I've done maintenace by myself like three times. I've really only done maintenance about 16 times. What would you guys do? Any ex managers or managers out there talk to me thanks. I've never woeked as a manager in civilian life but did for many years while in the military. What you're experiencing isn't normal but not abnormal either. If people screw up and don't want the blame, it's easy to blame others. You didn't say that all that you are being blamed for isn't true. Just that you are being blamed for a lot. It's also possible that you are being sabotaged by someone who doesn't like you. Did you try to get the problems resolved as to whether or not you were to blame for sure? This would be what I would do first if I felt it was worth the trouble. If not, I would just skip it. But if it got to be a habit and I was being repeatedly blamed for stuff that wasn't my fault and I could see that my supervisor wasn't on my side, I'd do what you are doing and leave for a better company with better coworkers to work with. I did this more than once while in the military. Whenever I found myself in an untenable situation at an office that I was working in and didn't feel confident about getting the problem fixed to my satisfaction, I put in for a transfer and usually got it within a month or two or three. I worked in accounting and finance and there aren't many air force bases that didn't have an accounting and finance office, so the Air Force always needed me at other bases if I wasn't happy where I was at. As long as I put in the minimum time required at each place to justify the money they spent sending me there in the first place, they were happy to send me somewhere else where they also needed me. :-) Working in many different places and companies gives you a lot more experience than the average person, which is good, as long as you don't overdo it where employers start to get the impression that if they hire you, you won't stay around for long. Employers prefer good employees that will stick around. Turnover is generally considered by employers as a pain in the rear, not to mention expensive. Good luck, Jason. :-)
