I just started a cleaning company and I have an account lined up. I am the one who makes a contract and have them sign it right? How long do I make the contract for 6 months, 1 yr ? What do I put in the contract other than the start date, days of service, what services will be done, when I will bill them, whether they supply or I supply cleaning products? Any info will help. There are lots of business tips out there. Do beware of the ones touting leads to cleaning jobs. This is not some magical information that you can not obtain any other way. Every person you meet is a potential.
- Congratulations! I clean small offices and you must have a contract, not only to protect yourself, but to guarantee you will have an ongoing job. usually contracts are for a year, which is what you want. You don't want to go through having the customer ask for bids from other companies every 6 months. The link the other answers gave is a good start for the basics of a contract.
